The forehead lift (also known as a browlift or browplasty) is a cosmetic surgery procedure which both elevates drooping eyebrows that obstructs vision and removes deep “worry” lines that run across the forehead (lines that may be too deep for BOTOX® to effectively treat) creating a more youthful appearance.
The forehead is a major focal and expression point of the upper face. Aging and gravity have adverse effects on the forehead as the muscles weaken and the skin loosens. A forehead lift is very commonly performed along with eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) to reduce sagging skin on the upper and lower eyelids. Unlike BOTOX®, a brow lift is a more permanent approach to removing wrinkles in the forehead.
The Endotine Forehead Lift
Soft tissue fixation is the least controllable and least predictable part of any forehead lift. Suture-based and percutaneous screw fixation techniques offer frustrating results. The Endotine Forehead features sutureless MultiPoint Technology (MPT™) which distributes tension and is designed to facilities facial aesthetic procedures, reduce operating time and improve surgical outcomes.
