I am 43 and my face has spent far too much time in the sun, using sunscreen that instantly sweats off.. I work with horses, and find using a baseball cap gives me a headache.. I am no longer working outdoors and am a stay at home mom, what is the best treatment for me my face looks older than the rest of me due too the sun, i know there is alot out there but am unsure of the best and safest way to improve my skin.. thank you so much
There are many aspects to skin care. While the best way for me to give you advice is to have you come in for a complimentary consultation my thoughts based on what you have told me is as follows starts with taking care of the sun damage that you have already accumulated followed by starting on a regimen to mantain the improvements that we just treated. Your skin care treatment regimen should most likely begin with:
1. IPL Photofacial: to treat brown age/sun spots ( recovery 1 day )
2. Profractional Laser: to treat fine lines ( recovery 3 days )
3. Botox: to treat lines of the forehead, glabella, and crows feet ( no recovery )
These three treatments will go a long way to take care of your skin and aging lines. You should follow these treatments by mantaining your results. Although this regimen is more individualized, it should include
1. Monthly facials and microdermabrasions
2. Skin care products including Retin A ( prevents UV damage ) and Hydroquinone ( keeps the brown spots quiet )
I hope this helps. Come in for a complimentary consultation.
Why is it that I have been sent to a plastic surgeon for meladona in my thumb . I dont see anything on your website that states cancer. I’m scared and I want the best treatment and I dont care what my thumb looks like just cut it out and rid me of cancer.
Hi Molly,
I am very sad to hear about your thumb. You were sent to a plastic surgeon because plastic surgeons are often viewed as experts on soft tissue and tissue reconstruction. While I don’t want to get into the details of your diagnosis and treatment, If you have a definate diagnosis of having a melanoma of the thumb, you need to see a plastic surgeon as soon as possible. If you are in this area, I would be happy to see you and talk to you further at no cost.

I had my daughter three years ago and I am havingtrouble loosing the extra “baby fat” that she left me. I am considereing doing a mommy makeover, but had a couple of questions about it:
1. Is it safe?
2. How much will it cost?
3. How long will the down time be?
4. Will I be able to work out after?
5. How much pain will be involved?
6. How soon will I see the results?
7. What will happen IF I get pregnant again – not planning on it, just curious – in case.
8. Will there be any scars and how noticeable will those be
9. How long will the procedure take
I am very interested in the tummy tuck and liposuction – and possibly the breast lift.
Thank you for taking the time to asnwer my questions as I know you are a very busy indiviual. Your time is appreciated.
Sincerely,
Rebecca
Thank you Rebecca for your question. Please come in for a free consultation where all of your questions can be answered. My consultations are complimentary. That way, we can insure what procedures would be most appropriate for you. A lot of information is also available on the web site.
However, in brief, it sounds like you might be interested in a mommy makeover. Watch the video on the home page. This is a procedure that it sounds like you are very appropriate for. For most women, this includes a breast augmenation or life, a tummy tuck, and liposuction of the waist and thighs.
I hope to see you in the office soon,
PChang
